Jeannie & Henry

I am Jeanette Jackson, also know as Baking Jeannie and this is the blog for my business, Blue Ivy Company and Cakery. I love to bake and bake with love. Cake decorating is my new found love, like any new romance, I can't seems to get enough.

Legend has it that I was born in the kitchen with a mixing bowl in one hand and wooden spoon in the other. According to the Record of Birth, I was born in a small town famous for growing sugarcane, on an island known best for reggae music (Bob Marley), spicy food (Jerk Pork and Chicken) and people with a easy-going attitude...translated: St. Mary, Jamaica. So I was destined to play with sugar while making it fun! By day I manage a small construction office; by night I am a working hard to build our custom cake decorating business. My hubby, Henry, is one of my biggest cheerleader and he loves to sample my cakes. What a team we make!
